Skyfall film in the James Bond series

Skyfall is the upcoming twenty-third spy film in the James Bond series, produced by Eon Productions for MGM, Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment. It features Daniel Craig's third performance as James Bond, and Javier Bardem as Raoul Silva, the film's villain. The film was directed by Sam Mendes and written by John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.

Mendes was approached to direct the film following the release of Quantum of Solace in 2008. However, production was suspended when MGM encountered financial troubles, and would not resume until December 2010. During this time, Mendes remained attached to the project as a "consultant", though original screenwriter Peter Morgan left the project during the suspension. Once production resumed, Logan, Purvis and Wade continued writing what would be the final version of the script, incorporating Morgan's ideas in it. Filming began in November 2011, and primarily took place in the United Kingdom, China and Turkey.

Skyfall is due to premiere on 23 October 2012, be released in the United Kingdom on 26 October 2012, and it will be the first James Bond film to be released in IMAX venues. The film's release will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the series, which began with Dr. No in 1962.

Innocence of Muslims Shot on Hollywood Photos

Innocence of Muslims, previously called Innocence of Bn Laden[sic] (working title Desert Warrior), is an anti-Islamic full-length feature film that was reportedly shown only once to the public—to an audience of about ten people at a rented theater in Hollywood, California. The film was allegedly produced by Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, a Coptic Christian.

Film trailers or excerpts of about 14 minutes in length were uploaded to YouTube in July 2012,[8] with the titles The Real Life of Muhammad, and Muhammad Movie Trailer. Trailers dubbed in the Arabic language were uploaded in early September 2012 and spread by Egyptian-American blogger and Coptic Christian Morris Sadek. On September 8, 2012, an excerpt of the YouTube video was broadcast on Al-Nas TV, an Egyptian Islamist television station, previously suspended for “promoting religious or sectarian hatred.” Violent protests against the film broke out on September 11 in Egypt and Libya. The protests spread to Yemen and other Arab and Muslim nations over the following days and included attacks on U.S. consulates and embassies. A military-style attack on September 11, 2012 on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya that resulted in the deaths of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans, may not have been a spontaneous protest due to the film, but rather may have been planned in advance, according the U.S. and Libyan officials.

The film has been condemned by both Muslims and the Coptic Orthodox Christian Church as "an inflammatory movie about the prophet of Islam." In addition, the World Council of Churches stated that the film was “an insult to the heart of the Muslim faith” and “to all peoples of faith.

Olivia Wilde Plays a tough Prostitute in Butter Movie

Olivia Wilde Plays a tough Prostitute in Butter Movie - The project that Wilde is talking about is coming from Howl directors Rob Epstein and Jeffery Friedman who at one point were interested in getting Kate Hudson and James Franco involved in the film but those rumours went quiet but since then news has started again about the film. There is also another planned Lovelace movie, Matthew Wilder’s Inferno, currently in the works.

Lovelace (real name Linda Susan Boreman) became internationally famous with breakout skin flick Deep Throat, before later stating that she was forced against her will into pornography by former husband Chuck Traynor. She went on to become an outspoken anti-pornography activist. Considering her fame, and the drama and scandal that defined her life, it’s no surprise that she has been singled out for the movie treatment.

The project has a script from W. Merritt Johnson (In Treatment, Temple Grandin) and is based on the seemingly out of print/hard to get book “The Complete Linda Lovelace” by Eric Danville.

Wilde is can currently be seen in Cowboys & Aliens and The Change-Up this summer, with In Time and Butter to follow later in the year.

Inferno will star Malin Akerman (who replaced Lindsay Lohan) as the porn star turned activist but it looks like one film could suffer if the other comes out first. Could this be another case of two conspicuously similar movies arriving within months of each other, like Capote/Infamous, Deep Impact/Armageddon, Antz/A Bug’s Life et al? And I wonder what really pulls people into the cinemas to see these films, is it the stars or the writers or what the press say about these films that really do make all the difference because I am sure that most people would not want to see the same story twice in such a small period of time.
